Hello everyone,
Crystal2 has officially been live for four days, and the world is already taking shape. Two active guilds are recruiting and laying the groundwork for the rivalries to come — and whether you'd rather join an established group or build your own legacy from the ground up, there's no better moment to step in than right now, while the server is young and every place on the board is still up for grabs.
Whether you've played with us before or are discovering Crystal2 for the first time, you're very welcome here. Below is a closer look at what we've built and why we think it's worth your time.
ABOUT THE SERVER
Crystal2 is a hand-built Metin2 world made for players who are tired of two things: servers that empty out in a month, and servers where the strongest "player" is simply whoever runs the better bot. We built Crystal2 to solve both. Underneath the nostalgia is a server engineered for one promise — a fair fight, a stable world, and a team that keeps showing up long after launch day.
A FAIR FIGHT
At Crystal2, fair play isn't an afterthought — it's the foundation the whole server is built on.
We take protection seriously, and it works quietly in the background so the people who actually play are the ones who get ahead. Automation and shortcuts don't belong here, and the economy stays healthy because progress is earned the honest way — through time, skill, and effort.
The result is simple: your rank is earned, your drops are real, and no wallet or shortcut buys an advantage. No pay-to-win — just the game, played fairly.

Crystal2 0.8.0 - The world comes alive
Our biggest graphics update yet:- Real-time shadows from characters, buildings and trees, soft, with clouds drifting over the land
- Ambient occlusion and light shafts through trees and roofs
- New water: ripples, shore foam and reflections of the world and the sky
- Living nature: fuller grass that parts as you walk, butterflies, falling leaves, dust, footprints and jumping fish

Crystal2 0.7.0 - Haunted Gates: three Halloween dungeons
Three cursed gates have opened in the capitals. Pumpkin Hollow (level 50-70), Hexwood Coven (level 70-90) and Reaper's Eclipse (level 90-105) are new Halloween dungeons for 1-5 players, each with its own boss: The Masked Harvester, Grand Witch Morwenna and The Pale Reaper.
- Skeleton Keys from Metin stones during the Halloween festival open the gates
- Haunted pumpkins hide a Treat or a Trick; the bosses raise soul shields and put the lights out
- Jack's Bargain, Mystery Pumpkins, Soul Wisps and a hidden Golden Pumpkin
- Ghost Lanterns buy Phantom Wings, Blood Moon Wings, Gate Keys and Party Totems
- Harvest Moon Ring and Blood Moon Ring, and nine new titles
- The Blood Moon on 31 October: Blood Moon bosses and double Ghost Lanterns
The launcher updates your game by itself.

• The Messages window is a real chat now: send pictures (copy one, or pick a part of your screen) and voice messages, and click them to view or play.
• React to any message with an emoji - rest the mouse on it and pick one.
• Group chats: make a group with your friends and chat together.
• Pictures from players who are not your friends arrive covered until you click them.
• Livestream: watch our partners' lives inside the game, like them, and join their giveaways - the prizes go to your item collector.
• The LIVE button is bigger, shows how many partners are live, and can be dragged anywhere on your screen.
• Shop names fit their signs again.
• The game's text is one size bigger and easier to read: chat and whisper lines have an outline, and window titles and the names over heads are bold.
• A fresh install shows chat, names and quest texts in the game's own font from the very first start.
• The Exorcism Scroll and Concentrated Reading work again while a Dragon God, Critical, Penetration or Energy buff is active.
• The Dungeons window no longer shows a teleport wait of hours after a channel or map change.
• Metin stones on Bay Black Sand, Cape Dragon Head, Dawn Mist Wood and Mount Thunder respawn after 45 seconds.
• Client 2.38 arrives automatically through the launcher. -
• Large Map 2.0: zoom with the wheel or / -, drag the map, bigger icons (1x / 1.5x / 2x), names on hover, and pick a spot as a waypoint on your minimap
• Moving clouds and a slowly turning sky; the ground stays sharp in the distance
• Graphics effects (glow, richer colours, sharper detail, smoother edges) - on by default, tune each one in Options > Graphics
• Grass on grassy ground - off by default, switch it on in Options > Performance
• New features switches: Options > Game > New features turns every new feature on or off, just for you
• Metin stone queue window: Shift right-click stones to queue them - see the list, remove, clear, pause, or minimise it to a small bar
• F5 opens the Channels window
• Instant logout, exit and character change when you are not in a fight
• More pickup filters: skip potions, upgrade materials, spirit stones and skill books
• What's new button next to the Money bar: the update notes right in the game
• Coming soon: broom flights from the Large Map, Crystal Chase (Pumpkin Panic, a tag game on Hollow Isle) and a farm tracker (F8) with a damage meter and auto-sellAlso new since v0.5.0:
• Smoother first loading after a PC restart, and no more freeze when a new class appears in a busy city
• Fixed a rare hang or crash right after logging in

• Fair pits: no mounts, outside buffs removed (potions and dews are fine), a short buff phase, and only a knock-out wins
• Season 1 (30 days): climb from Bronze to Master, with ladders, statistics and a full match history
• Teams: found a named team for 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 or 5v5 and climb the team ladders together
