Hello everyone,
Crystal2 has officially been live for four days, and the world is already taking shape. Two active guilds are recruiting and laying the groundwork for the rivalries to come — and whether you'd rather join an established group or build your own legacy from the ground up, there's no better moment to step in than right now, while the server is young and every place on the board is still up for grabs.
Whether you've played with us before or are discovering Crystal2 for the first time, you're very welcome here. Below is a closer look at what we've built and why we think it's worth your time.
ABOUT THE SERVER
Crystal2 is a hand-built Metin2 world made for players who are tired of two things: servers that empty out in a month, and servers where the strongest "player" is simply whoever runs the better bot. We built Crystal2 to solve both. Underneath the nostalgia is a server engineered for one promise — a fair fight, a stable world, and a team that keeps showing up long after launch day.
A FAIR FIGHT
At Crystal2, fair play isn't an afterthought — it's the foundation the whole server is built on.
We take protection seriously, and it works quietly in the background so the people who actually play are the ones who get ahead. Automation and shortcuts don't belong here, and the economy stays healthy because progress is earned the honest way — through time, skill, and effort.
The result is simple: your rank is earned, your drops are real, and no wallet or shortcut buys an advantage. No pay-to-win — just the game, played fairly.

• October events every day (server time): double Metin stone and double boss loot from 15:00 to 19:00, 50% EXP from 19:00 to 21:00 and double Metin stone loot from 21:00 to 01:00.
• A softer look: rounded frames with lighter bronze-grey borders on every window, the silver background kept, and new Royal Gold buttons.
• Messages shows faces, has a three-line reply box, a folding list and a resizable window, plus emoticons, item links and read / unread letters.
• Chat links open again after a question, and whisper notifications can be set in Options - Sound.
• Friend requests reach players on any map, and blocks keep holding after a map change.
• Twelve permanent items - the dews, the Dragon God medals, Critical and Piercing Strike - are made by Huahn-So the Alchemist.
• Sapphire Earrings 8 can be refined to 9, and clams open ten at a time.
• A movable FPS / ping meter, Ctrl A / C / X / V and mouse selection in every text box, and Esc closes every new window.
• The Biologist no longer removes your Biolog bonuses; everyone who lost theirs has them back.
• Launcher 2.6.1 lists every update note, and new account e-mails arrive in the Crystal2 look.
• Security and stability fixes from a full server audit; client 2.21 installs itself through the launcher. -
📋 Patch Notes / Changelog (27.09.2026) – v0.2.0
• A new face for the game: new login, character select, creation and kingdom screens in the Crystal2 look, with autumn effects until 10 November.
• Create an account, read the Terms of Service and get help with a forgotten password right on the login screen.
• A new loading screen with tips and today's events, and no more black screen after it.
• The Dragon Shop, Fortune Wheel, Minigames, Weekly Quests, Achievements, Account Security and Support are now the game's own windows: faster, in 15 languages, with no second sign-in. Top up opens the secure payment page in your browser.
• Four minigames in the game: Dragon Coin Rush, Metin Smash, Deepwater Fishing and Snake.
• Battle Pass, Biologist, Shop Search, Dungeons and Rankings redesigned. The Dungeons window shows rules, boss drops, your record and the Top 10, and teleports you to the entrance.
• Fixed: parties could not enter the Spider and Monkey dungeons, and the Spider's 60-minute limit never ran.
• Dungeon cooldowns now apply to everyone who enters, and a failed run counts too.
• Five new 9 weapons in the Dragon Shop with a guaranteed 60% Average / -30% Skill Damage and two 12 bonuses.
• Dragon Shop items now arrive with all their sockets.
• The Rotten Wooden Box can be opened. The Football Event is over.
• Chat: an emoticon picker, opacity sliders for the chat and windows, and the shout filter in all 15 languages.
• Launcher: game settings without config.exe, several clients at once, and updates you apply when you choose.
• New wiki at wiki.m2crystal.com in 11 languages. Reset a forgotten character PIN on the website.
• Fixed: a Russian client crash, the fortune teller, PIN changes, auto-pickup, the Guild Dragon Lair entry and the Argentine flag.
• Client 2.12 arrives automatically through the launcher. -
• Accessory gems no longer break. Socketing a gem into an accessory used to fail up to 3 times in 10 at the higher grades, and a failed attempt destroyed the gem. It now always succeeds — the gem is used up, and you keep the result.
• Upgrade items are used up correctly on channels 2, 3 and 4. A Stone Handbook, Diamond or gem could be used there over and over without ever running out. That was a configuration mistake on our side — nobody is being penalised for it and nothing is being taken back.
• The Dragon Shop boost deal now works the way it is advertised: add any 3 boosts and the cheapest is free, with types and durations mixing freely. Before this, your picks had to share the same duration to count.
• Every price in the boost list now shows what it really adds to your bill — often 0 DC — instead of the sticker price.
• The boost checkout adds up: the discount is no longer shown subtracted twice.
• Account boosts now appear in Recent Purchases, with their own filter and a FREE marker on the one you were given.
• The "a boost is about to run out" warning no longer fires on a boost with a week left on it.
• Events are scheduled through December: four a day, metin and boss alternating through the afternoon, 50% EXP at 19:00, and the overnight metin run from 21:00.
• The Mighty Ice Witch is now level 97, up from 89.
• Fixed: players carrying very large amounts of yang were disconnected and blocked when switching to channel 2, 3 or 4.
• Fixed: the Battle Pass now handles new reward levels being added while you are partway through — your progress and collected rewards show correctly instead of risking a crash.
• Stronger protection against connection flooding.
• Client 1.89 arrives automatically through the launcher. -
• Custom Titles are here — a coloured tag in front of your name, shown in chat and above your head.
• Earn a title for free: 100 / 500 / 1,000 / 2,500 / 5,000 hours played, 50 or 500 votes, 5 or 25 players referred, or simply being in a guild. Any one requirement is enough.
• Or buy one: six ready-made titles, or write your own text and pick your colour from the palette.
• Titles belong to a single character, so you choose which one wears it. One free change a month; changing sooner costs a little.
• Six pages now open inside the game from the Expand button on your taskbar: Fortune Wheel, Minigames, Weekly Quests, Achievements, Security and Support.
• The shop button in the bottom-left corner opens in-game too, instead of throwing you out to a web browser.
• In-game announcements: server news, event reminders and useful tips now appear in chat automatically.
• Fixed: event countdowns froze at 00h 00m 01s and the next event never appeared until you relogged.
• Fixed: typing in an in-game window also played the game — searching the shop fired quickslots and opened your inventory.
• Fixed: titles only appeared on one map.
• Fixed: minigame plays you earned but could never spend are now usable.
• Fixed: the minigame counter no longer offers runs that the daily cap will refuse.
• Fixed: minigame rounds now settle on the server's clock, not your computer's.
• Fixed: "Unblock character" was stranding players instead of rescuing them. Repaired, and the wait is now 10 minutes instead of an hour.
• Fixed: partner codes now record their uses.
• Added: New Arrivals shelf on the Dragon Shop.
• The account menu is now one consistent list across the whole site.
• Website updates are now zero-downtime — you should no longer see the site go down during one. -
• A Brand-New Launcher: Rebuilt from the ground up to match the New Era look — cleaner, faster, and with everything you need right before you play.
• Play in Your Language: The launcher now speaks all 12 languages — pick yours from the top-right and it remembers your choice.
• Sign In From the Launcher: Log in right on the launcher to see your Dragon Coins and jump straight to your account.
• Everything at a Glance: Live player count, latest news, update notes and the current event — all on the home screen, always up to date.
• Always Up to Date: The launcher updates itself and keeps your game on the latest version — you'll never play an outdated client again.
• Pause & Resume Downloads: Pause a big update and pick up right where you left off.
• Quick Game Settings: Open the in-game video & audio settings straight from the launcher.
• Bug Fixes
• The launcher now tucks into the system tray while you play and pops back when you close the game.
• Optional: start the launcher with Windows and get notified about new events and maintenance.
• Fresh installs now start in fullscreen by default.
• Windows 10: The launcher sets up everything it needs on first run — no manual steps.
• Already play Crystal2? Your launcher updates itself — you'll get the fresh new look automatically the next time you open it. Nothing to download by hand.
