The Metin2 Event Calendar: Official Servers vs. Private Servers
Metin2 events drive the daily rhythm of the game. Both the official Gameforge servers and Metin2 private servers run daily Metin2 events on top of the seasonal calendar, but how the Metin2 event calendar is surfaced to players differs a lot between the two worlds. That difference is the whole point of this Metin2 events page.
Metin2 Event Calendar on Official Servers
On the official Gameforge servers there are daily Metin2 events. The catch is that the official in-game Metin2 event calendar only shows what is currently active, there is no view of upcoming events. To see what is coming next you have to leave the client:
- For daily Metin2 events: check the event-calendar threads on the official Metin2 forum, where the community keeps the rotation up to date.
- For seasonal Metin2 events (Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Summer, Anniversary): wait for Gameforge announcements on the forum, in the official Discord and in the in-game news. They are not on the in-game calendar until they go live.
Metin2 Event Calendar on Private Servers
Metin2 private servers run daily Metin2 events too, but they solve the planning problem that the official servers leave open. Unlike the official client, the Metin2 event calendar on almost every pserver listed here is an enhanced in-game version that shows both active AND upcoming events for the full month, so you actually know when the next daily event, 2× drop weekend, boss spawn or PvP tournament starts.
On top of the in-game calendar, a lot of Metin2 private servers also publish their Metin2 event calendar directly on their website, with start times, end times, rewards and locations for every running event. Many also announce upcoming Metin2 events on Discord and the server homepage with live countdowns.
