What is Metin2 Dragon Stone Alchemy?
Metin2 Dragon Stone Alchemy is a system designed for high-level players with the aim of strengthening your character in a certain direction. Even though it was designed for high-level players, it can also be used on low-level characters.
It was first implemented in 2013 with the Dark Dragons Metin2 update, but since then, the system has had updates and adjustments and is used from almost every Metin2 server.

Getting Started with Dragon Stones
Initial Setup Steps
- Reach level 30 (on official servers)
- Visit the Alchemist NPC
- Activate "Arrival of the Dragon Stone Shard" quest
- Collect 10x Dragon Stone Shards
- Return to Alchemist for Cor Draconis (Rough)
- Gain access to Dragon Stones Alchemy Inventory

Dragon Stone Types
Right-clicking on Cor Draconis gives you a Dragon Stone (Rough) in a random color: Onyx, Diamond, Ruby, Jade, Sapphire, Garnet
Upgrade Order
Class Upgrade
Requirements: Two Dragon Gems from the same class
Classes: Rough → Cut → Rare → Antique → Legendary → Mythical
Clarity Upgrade
Requirements: Two Dragon Stones of the same clarity
Clarity Levels: Matt → Clear → Flawless → Brilliant → Excellent
Level Upgrade
Use Green Dragon Bean (easier to get, lower success), Blue Dragon Bean, or Pink Dragon Bean for level upgrades. Refinement may fail, reducing or maintaining the current level.
Mythical Expansion
Introduced in 2019, Mythical Dragon Stones represent the highest tier of alchemy stones. Many servers have adapted this system early or implemented it directly for new servers.
Advanced Features
Bonus Changing
Dragon Flame
Use Dragon Flame to exchange bonuses for Mythical Alchemy Dragon Stones. The number required depends on the stone's clarity.
Stone Removal & Duration
Dragon Tongs: Higher chance to remove stones safely
Dragon Tongs Plus: Guaranteed removal without fail
Time Elixir: Extends legendary stone duration by 5%, 15%, 30%, 50%, or 100%
Set Bonus
Equipping all 6 Dragon Gems of the same clarity increases bonuses
Only works for Legendary or Mythical stones. Many servers offer set bonuses for 6 mythical gems.
Amethyst Expansion (2023)
→ Amethyst Dragon Stone (only from Cor Daemonis)
The 7th Dragon Stone type, Amethyst, was added in 2023. It follows the same upgrade system but can only be obtained from Cor Daemonis instead of Cor Draconis.
Daily Quest System
Power of the Dragon Eye Quest
- Available after completing the initial quest
- Dragon Stone Shards drop as alternate loot
- Collect 10 shards to automatically create Cor Draconis (Rough)
- Can be completed 5 times per day
- Provides consistent stone farming method
